Membership Benefits
Membership Information:
The membership shall be effective starting on the first day of April and end on the second Saturday in December annually. The membership provides for upland hunting on designated land exclusive to members only. Membership allows for the use of the property, facilities and services located at 0 Farr Rd, Forestport NY 13338 by appointment only.
The terms agreed upon for the membership are as follows:
- Farr-A-Lago Lodge LLC Is a private, members only hunting club that will maintain no more than 12 active members. If a member chooses not to renew their yearly membership, said member will forfeit their membership resulting in the club filling the vacant position. At that point they will lose all rights as a member and to the establishment.
- All members and guests of members agree to adhere to the club’s rules known as the “10 Commandments.” Farr Lodge LLC and its members reserve the right to revoke a membership if the member or their guests goes against club’s rules and/or state, local or federal laws and regulations.
- A vote by all members will be held if a member is found to be in violation of club policy. In the event of a tied vote the president of the clubs vote acts as tie breaker.
- Membership fees must be paid in full by March 31st. The value of the membership corresponds to the amount of services available to the member based on the pricing of services for the specifies hunting season. Membership is for the designated hunting season and is non-transferable.
- The membership fee is $1500 per year which allows solely that member access to the facility during hunting season. Member will be allowed access to the clubhouse anytime provided they have successfully completed the 5 hour facilities course. Members are allowed to bring guests to public club events.
- Members are expected to maintain a clean and organized bunk. Please keep your linens and pillows in a plastic crate under your bunk to prevent mice from destroying them.
- Membership fees should be paid with cash/venmo/check.
- The club will hold monthly meetings and events will be posted by April 1st each year. All members are encouraged to join.
- Member is responsible for any damage incurred to any club facility or mechanism while using it. If you break it, you buy it.
- Members are expected to contribute 16 work hours per year. Work hours are considered hours that go into club facilities, grounds, trails, food plots, etc. Personal ground blind and stand work does not count towards work hours.
- Members must sign in and out when they enter and exit the club property and its amenities and list any guests.
- Hunting is permitted seven days a week during the designated season and the member and/ guests must sign and agree to a Waiver/Release Agreement prior to arrival of the facilities and prior to the use of facilities.
- Members must make reservations for any guests to hunt during hunting season in advance and is subject to availability. (overnight stays)
- Members are responsible for all services provided for their guests.
- Guests not covered by membership are required to pay $100 per night or $150 per weekend, during any opening season.
- There will be no more than 2 guests per night during hunting season.
- Members are permitted to use the facility 5/1-12/3 at any time with successful completion of 5 hour facilities class.
- Immediate family is granted access to 5/1-9/16 only with the active member present.
- Generator usage: The generator may be used from 5am-9am and from 430pm – 10 pm. The club will keep a log on generator maintenance and abide by set schedules.
- Each member agrees to contribute $10 per weekend to help cover fuel costs. This can be paid directly to the “tip” jar.
- Each member is given a number. This number is issued by your place of membership and acts as your level of seniority
